APPEALS AND RESULTS
Appeal #1: 76 Westland Road – D. Keith & Dianne B. Sloane
Mr. & Mrs. Sloane compared their home to several other homes on Westland Road and felt that their house was assessed at a higher value than these other homes, which they felt were at least comparable or in some cases, better than their house. Also, their home has a AA grade, higher than any of the other homes, which they also felt was unfair.
After careful deliberation, the Board voted unanimously to lower the grade on this house to AA-, thereby reducing the value to $1,429,530.
Appeal #2: 60 Avon Meadow Lane – Carbray Properties, LLC

Mr. Carbray stated that rent roles have decreased substantially since he purchased this building in May 2010. He feels that there is an abundance of office space in the market today causing considerable hardship for commercial building owners.
After careful deliberation, the Board voted unanimously to lower the value of this building to $750,000.
Appeal #3: Wal-Mart -Stores, Inc.
